Singapore. MINI Asia and Eurokars Habitat invite drivers to go off the beaten track and discover a unique side of Singapore with the MINI range. From Monday, 27 September to Sunday, 3 October, fans can view the MINI DE-TOUR car display at VivoCity Central Court 1 to find out more about this test drive programme, as well as view the special edition MINI Electric Collection making its debut in Singapore.

Experience a one-of-a-kind adventure with MINI DE-TOUR
Far from your usual test drive, MINI DE-TOUR is a one-of-a-kind adventure that comes with a surprise hands-on experience at a mystery destination.
“MINI has always been about bringing delight and surprise at every turn. In a MINI, the longer route is always more fun,” said Mr Kidd Yam, Head of MINI Asia. “With MINI DE-TOUR, we will explore a new side of Singapore through a unique test drive experience with hands-on activities. While we can’t reveal all the details now, I can promise that this will be an experience that celebrates all things MINI – from sustainable solutions in urban living to a creative use of space. Join us on DE-TOUR and you’ll see exactly what we mean!”
Interested customers can visit https://cp.mini.com.sg/mini-de-tour/ to view available time slots across October and November 2021. Each test drive experience lasts approximately two hours, and participants are invited to bring along one guest. Slots are highly limited, and registration closes on 14 October 2021. Successful applicants will be notified via email.

Customers looking for an even more stylish take on electromobility can now order the MINI Electric Collection in Singapore. This special edition combines the visual highlights developed for the latest edition of the MINI with exclusive design features in the exterior and interior coupled with high-quality equipment details.

The exterior paint finish Island Blue metallic is offered for the first time for the MINI Electric, with Rooftop Grey metallic as an alternative. The MINI Electric Collection also includes the optionally-available Multitone Roof, which is unique in its vehicle segment. With a new paintwork technique known as Spray Tech, the MINI plant in Oxford has created a fascinating colour gradient from San Marino Blue through Pearly Aqua to Jet Black, extending from the windscreen frame to the rear. Spray Tech is fully integrated into the mechanised production process at the MINI Oxford plant in the UK. Slight deviations in the colour pattern may occur due to changing environmental conditions, so every MINI with a Multitone Roof is already unique on the factory line itself.
The new MINI Electric Collection in 17-inch Power Spoke and exclusive side stripes decal
The exclusive-design bonnet and side stripes also contribute to the car’s expressive appearance with their subtle colour gradient. Black exterior mirror caps, 17-inch Power Spoke light-alloy wheels and Piano Black high-gloss exterior elements all add to the understated, sporty look. This high-gloss treatment is applied on the grille, headlamp and rear lamp surrounds, MINI logos, rear model lettering, door handles, and side scuttles.
In addition, the MINI Electric Collection features adaptive LED headlights including a matrix function for the high beam and door sill trims with a printed MINI Electric logo. In a further step towards sustainability, the sports seats are clad in a unique Black Pearl fabric/leatherette combination. 70% of the material used for the seats are based on recycled materials, with the upper fabric created out of 100%-recycled polyester (PES) from PET bottles. The MINI Electric Collection also sports newly designed interior surfaces in MINI Yours Aluminium finish and an anthracite-coloured roof lining. The refined premium character of the interior is also enhanced by the sports leather steering wheel in nappa finish, which also features a MINI Electric logo in the edition vehicles.
