Job Summary:
As a Parts Advisor, you are responsible for the efficient and accurate handling of automotive parts, ensuring smooth operations at the Parts Counter and within the warehouse. You will provide quotations, manage inventory levels, verify stock, and maintain accurate documentation while liaising with various stakeholders. Your role is crucial in supporting workshop activities and ensuring timely parts availability for both internal and external customers.
Responsibilities:
Issue and receive parts accurately at the Parts Counter.
Assist in providing quotations to our workshop and dealers.
Support daily warehouse operations.
Ensure parts quantities in bin locations match the system, reporting discrepancies.
Maintain proper parts labelling and housekeeping.
Verify incoming stock for correct quantity and label, reporting any damages.
Ensure outgoing parts are properly packed.
Monitor and maintain inventory stock levels for workshop and fleet customers.
Manage documentation, billing, and filing.
Liaise with Central Parts Warehouse for parts collection/delivery, operating forklift/reach truck as needed.
What we're looking for:
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a parts consulting or automotive retail role
Strong technical knowledge of vehicle parts and components
Proficiency in inventory management and parts ordering systems
Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in parts identification, ordering, and inventory control
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to continuous learning
Forklift Certification (nice to have)
Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Residents (SPR) are preferred
