About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance & Accounts Executive to support our Finance Team Lead in managing the full sets of accounts for four business units, comprising two automotive-related entities and two investment-holding entities.
This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership of the accounting function, working in a fast-paced environment, and partnering closely with operations while driving process improvements and system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
Automotive Subsidiaries (2 Entities)
Manage full sets of accounts and ensure timely and accurate month-end closing
Prepare monthly management accounts in accordance with financial reporting standards and group requirements
Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and balance sheet schedules
Monitor and support Accounts Receivable activities
Maintain fixed asset records and filing systems
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretaries
Follow up on intercompany balances and reconciliations
Prepare quarterly GST reports
Work closely with operations teams on day-to-day transactions
Monitor Work-in-Progress (WIP) and AR ageing reports
Support ERP system migration and implementation projects (NetSuite)
Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and strengthening of internal controls
Support ad-hoc finance projects as assigned
Investment-Holding Subsidiaries (2 Entities)
Manage full sets of accounts and month-end closing
Prepare monthly management accounts
Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet schedules
Liaise with auditors and external stakeholders on statutory matters
Follow up on intercompany balances with local and overseas related parties
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of full sets accounting experience
Experience handling month-end closing independently
Strong understanding of General Ledger (GL), reconciliations, and financial reporting
Comfortable working in a high-volume transaction environment and meeting tight deadlines
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proactive, independent, and able to take ownership of tasks
Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Comfortable learning and adapting to new accounting systems and technologies
