Sales Manager | Mazda

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. Reporting to the General Manager, Sales & Product, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets, developing sales strategies, coaching the team, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and motivate a team of Sales Consultants to achieve monthly sales and registration targets.

  • Drive revenue growth while maintaining healthy profit margins.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and business performance.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer preferences to identify business opportunities.

  • Review team performance regularly and provide coaching, training and performance feedback.

  • Ensure outstanding customer service and a seamless vehicle purchasing experience from enquiry through delivery.

  • Manage vehicle inventory, stock turnover and showroom display to support business objectives.

  • Oversee showroom operations and maintain high standards of professionalism and customer engagement.

  • Support fleet, corporate and business development opportunities.

  • Prepare sales reports, analyse performance metrics and recommend improvement initiatives.

  • Work closely with internal departments including Finance, Registration, Marketing and Aftersales to ensure smooth operations.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing or a related discipline.

  • Proven experience in automotive sales, with previous experience in a supervisory or management role.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate high-performing teams.

  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

  • Good understanding of the Singapore automotive market and industry trends.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.

  • Possess a valid Class 3 driving licence.
