JAKARTA, 16 June 2017 – Eurokars Group Indonesia marked the Grand Opening of its new Headquarters and Porsche Centre Jakarta in Southern Jakarta on 14 June 2017. The new facility aims to provide all customers with a seamless, integrated and state-of-the-art sales and after-sales experience with its trained personnel, and modern, comfortable and comprehensive facilities, all from its strategic location near the Gandaria City Mall, along the popular automotive belt of Southern Jakarta.
Speaking at the press conference which took place at the new facility in the morning, Mr Herbert Kwee, CEO of Eurokars Group Indonesia, said: “Today’s occasion marks a major milestone for Eurokars Group as it is the apex of a journey that began about three years ago with a vision. We set out to consolidate and expand our operations in Indonesia, and achieve economies of scale and operational efficiency through the centralisation of the group’s core functions and businesses in a singular and integrated hub.”
He added, “The new Eurokars Group Indonesia Headquarters and Porsche Centre Jakarta is part of a string of capital investments that Eurokars Group has made in both Indonesia, Singapore, China and Australia to raise the bar; support the group’s rapid expansion; enhance our sales and after-sales operations and services; and ultimately enable the Group to deliver its brand promise to its valued customers, principals and stakeholders.”
Located at Jalan Sultan Iskandar Muda No. 51, Arteri Pondok Indah, the new Eurokars Group Indonesia Headquarters and Porsche Centre Jakarta facility spans six floors on a 4,088 square metre (sqm) site which yields a total Gross Floor Area of 14,869 sqm.
The new facility is occupying the original site of the inaugural Eurokars Group Indonesia HQ and Porsche Centre Jakarta which was then a three-storey building. The redevelopment process, which took three years to complete, entailed the extension of the overall land size and floor area.
This one-stop HQ now houses the Eurokars Group Indonesia Head Office which comprises the core functions of all the brands that are being represented by the group.
Porsche Centre Jakarta consists of showrooms; sales and after sales services and operations, and offices from level one to three of the building. The Eurokars Group Indonesia Head Office is also located at level three. The fourth storey is dedicated to the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars service centre and main office, while the fifth floor houses the Head Office of PT Eurokars Motor Indonesia, the distributor of Mazda vehicles in Indonesia. The highest level is a rooftop carpark for the occupants of the building. The two other brands which are represented by Eurokars Group in Indonesia, namely BMW and Maserati, will continue to operate from their existing premises.
Eurokars Group Indonesia commemorated the occasion with a press conference in the morning and a Grand Opening event in the evening which was attended by more than 350 guests comprising VIP guests such as Mr Andri Hadi, Director General for Protocol and Consular Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia; Mr Martin Limpert, Managing Director of Porsche Asia Pacific, and Mr Choichi Yuki, Deputy General Manager, ASEAN Business Office, Mazda Motor Corporation, as well as the business, banking and media partners of Eurokars Group.

The guests were treated to ‘live’ music, sumptuous cuisine and a wide spectrum of entertainment. Among the key highlights of the evening was a presentation by Porsche’s Business Development Manager, Porsche Exclusive and Tequipment, Mr Kai Henrik Mueller who provided insights into the customisation options and the wide range of personalisation services available for Porsche owners. The event ended after the guests were led on a guided tour of the new facility.
“Our vision has become a reality today, and with the launch of our new HQ, Eurokars Group has entered a whole new dimension of automotive distributorship, and an exciting phase of our operations and business interests in Indonesia. This significant investment on our part is a statement and declaration of our unwavering commitment towards the development of the automotive sector in Indonesia,” said Mr Kwee in his speech at the Grand Opening Gala.
The new facility is also a demonstration of Eurokars Group’s dedication to its customers. Every effort was made to redevelop and expand the original facility to realise the goal of having an integrated hub whereby customers can have a completely seamless experience when they are there. Through this facility, the group will be able to respond more quickly to the evolving, diverse and sometimes complex needs of its customers.
