Unveiling the All-Electric E-HS9 and Showcasing the Golden Sunflower Range: Guoli and Guoya

Hongqi Singapore will make its official public debut at the Singapore Motorshow 2026, taking place from 8 to 11 January, marking the arrival of China’s most iconic luxury automotive marque in the Singapore market.

At the Motorshow, Hongqi Singapore will unveil the E-HS9 - a preview of the brand’s flagship all-electric full-size luxury SUV, with first customer deliveries expected from the second quarter of 2026, alongside Guoli and Guoya from the prestigious Golden Sunflower range. Together, these models introduce Singapore audiences to Hongqi’s vision of Eastern Luxury, where heritage, innovation, and refined craftsmanship converge.

Founded in 1958, Hongqi - meaning “Red Flag” - is China’s oldest and most distinguished passenger car manufacturer. Over the decades, the marque has evolved into a global symbol of prestige, authority, and innovation. Today, Hongqi is guided by a design philosophy that harmonises Eastern aesthetics with modernity, under the creative direction of world-renowned designer Giles Taylor.

The Hongqi E-HS9 is more than an all-electric luxury SUV. It is a statement of presence and technological sophistication. Powered by next-generation AI intelligence, the E-HS9 anticipates driver needs, adapts intuitively to each journey, and delivers a seamless and refined driving experience. Its bold exterior design, highlighted by the iconic Red Line and Matrix LED headlights, establishes a strong sense of ceremony and visual presence.

Intelligent design features include signature C-pillar LED light bars that display battery charge status at a glance, while rear LED lights and concealed door handles enhance both aesthetics and functionality. The E-HS9 is equipped with a 120-kWh battery delivering up to 485 hp and 606 Nm of torque, with a range of up to 548 km on a single charge. An ultra-highstrength steel battery enclosure provides exceptional structural integrity and safety.

Advanced technology in the E-HS9 includes Qualcomm 9150 C-V2X connectivity, enabling communication with surrounding vehicles, infrastructure, and pedestrians to enhance safety and situational awareness. Inside, the cabin features a panoramic intelligent display, premium leather seating with ventilation and massage functions, and one of the widest panoramic sunroofs in its class, combining comfort, luxury, and modern design.

Hongqi Singapore’s debut follows its appointment under Eurokars Group, the authorised distributor for Hongqi in Singapore, in July 2025. This partnership reflects a long-term commitment to delivering a distinctive luxury ownership experience in the local market. Hongqi’s dedicated Singapore showroom is scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2026, offering an immersive environment for customers to experience the brand’s philosophy of Eastern Luxury.
