Making its first public appearance at the Singapore Motorshow 2026, Mazda unveiled the all-new Mazda6e, a bold statement heralding the brand’s next chapter in an electrifying era of driving. As Mazda’s first all-electric fastback, set to launch in Singapore in July 2026, the Mazda6e embodies a future where advanced technology, Japanese craftsmanship, and human-centric design come together seamlessly to deliver greater journeys.

The all-new Mazda6e fastback represents a contemporary, electrified evolution of the Mazda6, one of the brand’s most popular models in the Singapore region. Retaining Mazda’s famed focus on harmony between driver and machine, the all-new Mazda6e fastback introduces a modern flowing exterior, a sleek and spacious cabin, and a driving experience purpose-built for the age of electrification.

Designed under the concept of ‘Electrifying Design Crafted to Perfection’, the Mazda6e fastback marks the next evolution of Mazda’s ‘Kodo – Soul of Motion’ design philosophy. Its sculpted silhouette, smooth flowing lines, and bold proportions create a refined yet powerful presence. The low roofline and short-deck coupe profile offer a sporty aesthetic, yet the five-door design retains an everyday practicality.
Standout exterior details include frameless doors, integrated door handles, and a bold lighting signature that enhances the Mazda6e’s modern appeal. At the front, the glowing signature wing delivers a bold yet refined face that unmistakably reflects Mazda’s design DNA. In profile, parallel lines running along the body emphasise the vehicle’s sleekness, while the lower door surfacing showcases the movement and light-play that define Kodo design. The 19-inch aerodynamic wheels feature a playfully sporty five-spoke pattern.
At the rear, the taillight adopts a sleek horizontal LED design, with glowing cylindrical elements that form a futuristic-looking continuous light bar across the rear. Mazda lettering in place of the traditional rear emblem allows for a cleaner contemporary finish. A statement of intelligent design, the retractable rear spoiler activates at speed, delivering added downforce and stabilisation for confident driving. The rear spoiler then disappears effortlessly into the bodywork, maintaining a smooth, aerodynamically efficient profile.

Inside, the Mazda6e fastback’s cabin is bathed in natural light through a panoramic roof that contributes to an airy ambience and sense of space. Drawing inspiration from the Japanese concept of ‘Ma’, which emphasises the beauty of open space, the interior delivers sophisticated simplicity. A floating centre console and instrument panel enhance the feeling of lightness, while choice materials and careful detailing showcase Mazda’s dedication to craftsmanship.

Mazda has always embraced a driver-centric approach to design, and the Mazda6e fastback brings this philosophy to life within its interior. The intelligent cockpit ensures information is delivered clearly and intuitively, allowing drivers to stay focused on the road ahead. An augmented-reality head-up display keeps essential information directly within the driver’s line of sight, while the 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and 14.6-inch centre display, controllable via touch or voice, work seamlessly together to make every interaction effortless and natural.
Powering the Mazda6e fastback is a single-motor electric drivetrain paired with a 78kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, designed to make everyday driving effortless and worry-free. The battery is inherently free from rare earth elements, and its absence of cobalt and nickel makes it safer, more durable, and environmentally friendly compared to other battery chemistries. Delivering smooth, responsive acceleration, the Mazda6e fastback generates a maximum power of 190kW (258ps) and 290Nm of torque, providing both spirited performance and confidence on the road.
With an estimated driving range of up to 545km, drivers can enjoy greater freedom for daily commutes or longer journeys. When it’s time for a quick recharge, the 194kW DC fast-charging capability enables a 10-80% charge in just 24 minutes, allowing up to 270km of range to be added in just 15 minutes – perfect for top-ups between errands or on-the-go adventures.
