Porsche Jakarta Celebrates 75 Years of Porsche Sports Cars

Porsche is the brand for those who are driven by dreams. As Porsche celebrates its 75th anniversary this year, the brand is celebrating its rich heritage as it looks forward to bigger and more colourful dreams in the future. Porsche Indonesia is joining the worldwide celebrations with exciting initiatives at Porsche Centre Jakarta on 22 and 23 July 2023.

“The Festival of Dreams is curated to celebrate the Porsche spirit in all its diversity. In this milestone 75th year for the brand, we are proud to be gathering dreamers with different backgrounds and stories to celebrate what unites us – which is to be driven by dreams,” said Alexander Riedel, General Manager of Porsche Indonesia.
“Porsche Classic Day will honour our proud heritage with the display of classic sportscars like the Porsche 356A, 911 Targa (F-Series), 944 S, and 911 RS America (964), thanks to our supportive Porsche Classic owners. We look ahead to an even brighter future, represented by the Taycan, our all-electric sports car, in a stunning Tape Art installation,” concluded Mr. Riedel.

Porsche Classic Day: Celebrating sports cars that have shaped the past 75 years
Following the successful Porsche Classic Day hosted by Porsche Indonesia in 2022, the highly-anticipated event returns on 23 July 2023 at Porsche Centre Jakarta.

On this special day, guests will experience the journey of Porsche through iconic sports cars from yesteryear. Porsche Indonesia will also unveil a special restoration project of the first sports car to be offered with Porsche’s Tiptronic automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, the Porsche 964 Carrera 4 Cabriolet.

“The classic Porsche sports cars on display have all played a part in defining our brand’s success story over the past 75 years. Owning a classic Porsche is a commitment, which is why we are here to assure our classic Porsche owners that their dream sports cars will receive the best possible care, with genuine Porsche parts. Servicing and maintenance works are exclusively performed by our certified Porsche Classic technicians,” said Martin Pointon, Service Manager of Porsche Centre Jakarta.
